Rerr inspects all
I sedimentation ponds on a quarterly basis. inspections include
evaluation of accumulated sediment levels relative to design
sediment storage capacity to verify that design stormwater storage
I capacity is maintained at all times. If inspections indicate that
sediment accumulations are at or near the design sediment level,
Kerr removes accumulated sediment from the pond(s) within a
reasonable period (typically 30 to 60 days) following the
I inspection. Both pond inspection reports and documentation of pond
clean-out are retained at the minesite and are available for
inspection by authorized agency representatives.
