At your request this office has conducted a search of the C:olecado Archaeological Site
Inventory and the Colorado Irn~antory of Historic Sites, as well as nomuiations pending
or on the National Register of Historic Places.
The result of this file seazc`1 is indicated below:

Cksr files are incomplete in this azea as the vast majority of Colorado his not been
inventoried. There is always the possibility that as yet unidentified CXiltural
Resasces exist within the proposed impact area.
Therefore, the federal agency is required to conduct a professional survey to Ident'
any E 'able Ck~ltural Resources in the proposed project area.
We anticipate consultation with this office regarding the Effect of the Proposed project
on airy Eligible resource in accordance with the Advisory Council Procedux•es for the
Preservation and Protection of Historic and cultural Resources (36 CFR 8C~0).
Please provide this office with the results of the survey for our review of professional
adequacy and cc©pliance.
