,~
time as it is removed from the TCC disturbed area.
RESPONSE - The area has been included on TCC's map as being a
liability area. The confusion arises over the fact that our
discussions and agreements were not adequately transmitted to TCC's
staff person doing the report.
DMG COMMENT - The CYCC permanent road from county road 27 to a
point near Pond A should be shaded as TCC liability. This road is
used and maintained by TCC and will outlive the CYCC permit by a
number of years given current mine life expectancies.
RESPONSE - The map has been shaded to show that this road is TCC's
liability from the railroad track to Pond A. However, the
beginning road segment, in addition to the segment form the
railroad track to Pond A, was approved as a permanent road under
CYCC's permit. TCC will maintain the above referenced segment
during the life of the mine, but when the mine if reclaimed the
entire segment of road, from County Road 27 to Pond A will remain
as a permanent road. I believe this should clarify any ongoing
maintenance during the life of TCC's permit.
The appropriate sections of the report have been revised as per the
above and are attached. Please insert them into the report and
discard the outdated materials.
Please contact me at your convenience if there are further
questions.
Sincerely,
/~~~~.~~e~~~K
Richard Mills
Manager, Surface/Environment
attachments
file: c:\wp51\pelmt94\~rt93.~cc
