OC T 2 3 1991 <br />1313 Sherman S~ <br />Denver, co so2o3 Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division <br />Dear Dave: <br />Subject Annual Sand and Gravel Pit (112 Report) for 1990-91, and <br />Notice of intent to Continue Mining Operations (Permit No. M-84-168) <br />Enclosed is our 1990-91 Sand and Gravel Pit Operations report, map and annual Fee payment ($430). The <br />Williams Fork Company intends to continue mining operations into 1992. A brief discussion of our 1991 <br />mining activity follows. The map shows the surveyed location and number of acres which have been actively <br />mined (12.17 acres) and/or partially disturbed (10.73 acres) during the life of mining. The partially <br />disturbed acres include topsoil stripped, partially backfdled and vehicle traffic areas. <br />No additional acres have been reclaimed during 1991. No fertilizers, organic materials nor soil conditioners <br />were used in 1990-91. Topsoil removed for pit advance was placed in the existing topsoil stockpiles. Those <br />topsoil piles were seeded to the temporary plant species mec that appears in Table-3 of our permit. <br />The Williams Fork Company proposes to affect approximately 3.0 additional acres in the coming year within <br />Area 2. The projected area is delineated on the attached map. <br />The effective date for this information is October 15, 1991 <br />Additional remarks the Williams Fork Company wishes to address in this 112 report: <br />1) Mined acres in 1991 - 3.4 <br />New disturbance acres in 1991 - 2.0 <br />2) Dewatering during 1991 - 0.04 aae/feet <br />Initial Dewatering Maximum GPM -866 (1500 GPM approved). <br />Additional information concerning the planned areas for disturbance and the projected dates of develop- <br />mentare in our permit (Table D-1).
