We intend to continue mining operations into <br />2007. The enclosed revised Appendix C map illustrates the surveyed acreage that has been <br />reclaimed (31.03 acres, including 0.82 acres newly reclaimed in 2006) and the unreclaimed <br />acreage that has been mined (11.27 acres) or is simply associated disturbance (18.01 acres). <br />Topsoil salvaged ahead of pit advancement was either placed directly onto the azea prepazed for <br />permanent reclamation at a depth of approximately 18 inches or placed into a temporary <br />stockpile at the east edge of the topsoil strip advance. The topsoil in the temporary stockpile <br />will be used for permanent reclamation in 2007. <br />The projection for the 2006-07 report period (October 26, 2006 through October 25, 2007) is <br />for approximately 1.30 acres of new disturbance in Mine Areas 5 and 6.
