SUMMARY OF 2004 ACTIVITIES <br />Active mining continued at the new mine during the year. Reclamation hydro- <br />seeding was completed on a total of 1.5 acres. This included seeding of a catch bench at <br />the active mine and reseeding of a lower section of the Old Mine area that was not <br />showing responsive re-vegetation. With the exception of this reseeding, there are no <br />changes to the Old Mine map designated "Exhibit A" included in the 2003 report so it is <br />not included again with this year's submittal. <br />Road construction work on the new access road into the amended permit area and <br />future ore reserves located north east of the existing mine. Road pioneering of <br />approximately 4,000 feet was completed. All six of the drainage culverts in the road <br />design and three of the five sediment control ponds were installed. <br />The portion of Eagle County Road #51 which serves as a haul road was treated <br />with a lignosite dust suppressant. Road base material was replaced on worn areas of the <br />road at that time. <br />2004. <br />Approximately 615,000 tons of gypsum rock were shipped from the mine during <br />3 <br />
