M-77-098 <br />Sievers Ranch Pit - Garfield County <br />FEDERAL TAX IDS <br />The anniversary date of this permit is June 30, 1992. <br />Western-Mobile, Inc. (WMI), the lease holder, continued to operate <br />the pit this year. On November 4, 1991, the MLRB approved a <br />Technical Revision and bond increase for this operation. We have <br />operated since that time as approved in the Technical Revision. <br />This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation and it HA S <br />operated more than 180 days this year. <br />The annual report map reflects the actual areas of disturbance <br />shown on an airphoto we obtained this year. The Financial Warranty <br />for this operation is $116,100 the permitted area is 122.95 ac. ± <br />and the pit is divided into 5 Reclamation Phases. A sign that <br />conforms with rule 6.7 Signs and Markers was installed at the entrance <br />to the pit this year. Please refer to the Annual Report map for <br />the location of areas discussed in this report. <br />This information will comply with Section 2.4.1 of the Rules <br />and Regulations. <br />2.4.1 <br />(1) Mining continued in Stage A this year. The floor was lowered <br />an additional 2 to 5 feet in the area colored tan. The mine <br />face has continued to advance to the south across the pit <br />width, the area mined this year is colored red brown. At this <br />time there is 16.63 ac ± in Stage A that is partially mined. <br />There is approximately 5.19 ac south of the face stripped <br />ready for mining (yellow). The fresh water pond and settling <br />ponds remain in Stage A (blue) where they were relocated in <br />1990. Stage P is still being utilized as approved; 5.23 ac. <br />± is equipment storage yard (orange), 5.00 ac.± is used for <br />material stockpiles (green) and WMI's scale house is on the <br />west side near the pit entrance. <br />~~~ <br />17~ <br />
