4.3 Reclamation Accomplished 2002 - 2003
During the 2002 - 2003 reporting year there was no actual reclamation work
conducted on the project properties, The lessening of the drought conditions in
the Piceance Creek area has resulted in increased growth on re-vegetated
areas and has allowed better evaluation of areas that need further re-seeding.
4.4 Reclamation Accomplished 2003 - 2004
During the 2003-2004 reporting year the following reclamation was conducted:
AMERICAN SODA, LLP
PICEANCE FACILITY
SPRING 2004 RECLAMATION
RECLAMATION APPLICATION
DATE: SUNDAY APRIL 25 -THURSDAY APRIL 29
SEED MIXTURE TYPE: CRITICAL AREA STABILIZATION SEED MIX
LOCATION TYPE: ROAD CUTS/SHOULDERS & TOPSOIL PILES
PERMANENT OR TEMPORARY: TEMPORARY
SEED APPLICATION: HYDROSEED
MULCH APPLICATION: HYDROMULCH
FERTILIZER: NITROGEN AND P O 18-46-0
MULCH: 2 TONS/ACRE CONWED FIBERS
TACKIFIER: 100 LBS/ACRE M-BINDER
CONTRACTOR: BROWN'S ENVIRONMENTAL
CONSTRUCTION
Critical Area Stabilization Seed Mix was applied for temporary soil stabilization to
approximately 7 acres of land including road cuts/shoulders and topsoil piles
where soil stabilization was needed.
