On 3 May, eagles were seen at the southern-most <br />nest brooding and feeding two chicks approximately 10-15 days old. That territory has been <br />monitored since 1996, and was known to be active during at least six of those eight years. No <br />activity was documented in 1998 or 1999. <br />SANDHILL CRANE ACTIVITY <br />No sandhill cranes were seen or heard on or near the Seneca II permit area during early <br />May 2003. <br />• <br />Table 1.
