Eight species, seven grasses and one forb, had a
relative importance of at least 3 percent. The top five species together had a relative cover of 69.9 percent.
These results meet the herbaceous diversity criterion of at least 5 perennial species with relative importance
of at least 3 percent- However, the combined relative importance of the eight species with at least 3 percent
relative importance is 88 percent. This percentage exceeded the success criterion requiring that the combined
relative importance of these species not exceed 75 percent. None of the species exceeded the 40 percent
relative importance stipulation. Also, no woody species exceeded 80 percent relative importance. Thus,
overall species diversity of the site meets revegetation success criteria.
6
