Permit No. 86-079, <br /> Annual Report - Anniversary Date: 08/03/97 <br /> FEDERAL TAX ID# 84-0517799 <br /> Our files indicate that the anniversary date for this permit is August 3rd. Operation <br /> continued as approved in the original permit. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary <br /> Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. The Financial Warranty for <br /> this operation is $49,000; the permitted area is 109.00 ac. ± and the pit is not Phased. A <br /> sign that conforms with rule 6.7 SIGNS AND MARKERS is located at the entrance to the pit. <br /> Please refer to the Annual Report map for the location of areas discussed in this report. <br /> We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report requirements as outlined in <br /> Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regulations, and in the annual notice letter. <br /> (1) No new area was disturbed this year. We mined on areas stripped and partially <br /> mined in the last few years. Material was removed from stockpiles this year. The <br /> total disturbance to date is 84,29 ac. ±; of which 64.71 ac ± is lake area; 6.31 ac. <br /> ± is backfilled; 7.41 ac ± is Plants Site; 3.30 ac. ± is topsoil piles; 1.51 ac. ± is <br /> stripped ready for mining and 1.05 ac. ± is road. <br /> (2) No reclamation was required this year. Backfilling is continuing in the north quadrant <br /> of the property. We have a total of 6.31 ac. ± filled to date. The majority of the <br /> area left to be mined will be part of the lake area when mining is complete. Only <br /> two small area on the north and south sides of the Plant Site will be bank shore <br /> (approx. 1020 ft). Above water bank sloping began this year on the south side of the <br /> mine. No revegetation work was preformed this year nor is it required until <br /> resoiling is complete. We have approximately 68,540 YD3 of soil stockpiled along <br />
