Location and number of acres affected during the previous year? <br />Mining was confined in the past year to approximately 2.5 e.cres of <br />previously disturbed acreage in the central portion of the quarry. <br />2. Locations and number of acres reclaimed for the previous year? <br />No new areas were reclaimed in the previous year. <br />3. Location and number of acres in various stages of reclamation? <br />Backfilled 0 <br />Revegetated 0 <br />Graded 0 <br />Topsoiled 0 <br />4. The species of vegetation planted, the location and approximate dates of <br />planting. <br />No new areas were revegetated in the previous year. <br />5. The type and approximate quantity of fertilizers, organic material, or <br />soil conditioners used and location of use? <br />Approximately 300 pounds of 18-46-0 fertilizer were used on the <br />revegetated area north of the active quarry. <br />6. An appraisal of the success of reclamation efforts, and in the event of <br />failure of any efforts, a short narrative on the suspected or determined <br />causes of such failure. <br />The revegetated area north of the active quarry shows a good catch of a <br />number of grasses in most of the area. Some clumps of rt~ountain <br />mahogany are also coming in in several areas giving a diverse <br />appearance to the revegetated area. <br />
