Consvuctioa <br />595 Taylor Sveet <br />Craig, CO 81675 <br />A[[n: Mr. Bud Bower <br />Job No. 95-2296 <br />Subject: Quazterly Inspection Report, Waste Coal <br />Area, Foidel Creek Miae, Routt County, Colorado. <br />Gentlemen, <br />As requested, Northwest Colorado Consultants, Inc. has prepared this letter outlining our inspections <br />made during the fvst quazter of 1997 at the Waste Coal Area, which is located at the Foidel Creek <br />Mine is Rout County, Colorado. <br />We visited the project site oa January 24 and February 10, 1997 to inspect the waste coal area. At the <br />time of our visits, the contractor was stockpiling the waste coal is the central portion of the waste coal <br />area. Snow had been removed from the stockpile area prior to the placement of the waste coal. The <br />convactor advised us that they were not placing any compacted lips and that they were going to <br />stockpile the materials until later [his spring, when they can spread the materials out [o dry and then <br />compact them. <br />Due [o the snow cover a[ [he remainder of the site, we could not determine if the surface drainage <br />conditions, observed during [he last quarter of 96, had been corrected. <br />This report fulfills <br />4.10.2(2)(a).
