M-79-163
Dear Ms. Mazza:

Las Animas County owns one portable crusher which is moved throughout the County to several
different permitted gravel pits. Currently there is no crushing taking place at the Shannon Pi[. It
will probably be another three to four months before the cn~shing will again start up at the
Shamion Pit.
On the enclosed map, the highlighted portion is the area which was previously mined. This area
will continue to be mined until all material is depleted. No reclamation will be started until all
material is depleted from the permitted area.
If further information is required, please advise.
Sincerely,
/t ~ C/~f.CO~EF
Robert A.
