The pit is still being operated by Aggregate, Inc. under a lease from Suburban Sand and Gravel Co. This pit is operating according to the Technical Revisions approved in June, 1992 and January, 7th 1994. The bond amount is $68,500 and the pit is not a phased operation but the area of disturbance is limited to 50.00 acres ±. The permitted area is 168.41 acres ±, the pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation and it HA3 operated more than 180 days this year. Please refer to the map attached for the areas discussed in this report. We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report requirements in Section 2.4.1 of the Rules and Regulations. 2.4.1 (1) At the current time we have 99.46 acres t disturbed in the pit. This entire area was stripped of topsoil and the topsoil was stockpiled for use in reclamation. We have approximately 42,200 YD stockpiled, covering 6.02 acres ± on the east, west and north sides of the stripped area (brown). Of the total disturbed area 19.14 acres ± is stripped and ready for mining (yellow), 16.20 acres ± is plant site area (orange), 53.17 acres ± is lake area (blue) and 4.93 acres ± has been partial- ly reclaimed (green) by sloping the above and below water areas on the south side of the facility. Mining continued on areas previously disturbed. (2) No reclamation was required during this year. As noted above there are 4.93 acres where reclamation has begun. The area was graded, shaped and resoiled in the fall of 1992. It will ~~ ~~
