COLORADO 81302 <br />November 27, 1989 <br />T0: Caryl Helmin, National King Coal, Inc. <br />• OFFICE 10i 1L7~OIIB <br />RESIDENCE 2~1~35lO <br />SUBJECT: Quarterly Inspection, Huntington Ditch, Fourth <br />Quarter, 1989. <br />1) The fourth quarterly inspection of the Huntington Ditch, <br />King Coal Mine, La Plata County, Colorado was made on November <br />2, 1989. <br />2) The ditch was found to be in good condition but is in need <br />of clearing and maintenance. <br />An inspection was made of the Huntington Ditch on November <br />2, 1989 for evidence of leakage and damage due to the effects <br />of underground mining. Particular care was taken during this <br />inspection because of recent subsidence effects above 3 East. <br />No such evidence was found. The ditch is, however, in need of <br />clearing of weed and native plant growth and sediment. The <br />purpose of this inspection was to meet requirements established <br />by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division for quarterly <br />inspection of the Huntington Ditch. <br />red M.
