HEALTH ACID SA~'ST}'
GECLCGIC HAZARDS
No material geologic hazards exist or rill be created by
the proposed gravel extraction and land reclamation plans.
As the existing natural slopes will be replaced by
steeper slopes at man;,- locations, the cuestion of potential
future slope instability is of greatest interest as a
geologic hazard, however, the proposed s~rerage 3:1 slopes
in the natural free-draining gravels will pose no problem.
During the place-~ent of the earth emban'.~~ments, temporary
steep slopes will exist. These should Dose no problem,
particularly in view of the vertical cuts in the nearb?
pits that have remained stable for many months.
SAPIITAR'f FACILITIES
Adequate sanitary facilities will be furnished, installed
and maintained for the :~~orkmen. As the needs arise, a
sufficient number of enclosed temporary toilets will be
conveniently placed as reeuired by the Sanitary Code of
the State of Colorado and Boulder Count•:.
Drinking water will be provided from an approved source,
• so piped or transported as to steep it safe and fresh, snd
served in a single service container or satisfactory
t~•pe of sanitary ~rinking water. all such facilities and
services shall be furnished in strict accordance with
existing and governing health regulations.
•
