Enclosed herewith is the Annual Report form, together
with a map showing disturbances to affected land and reclamation accomplished as of the end of permit year,
August 28, 1999.
CAMAS Colorado, Inc. acqu'ved the operation [o which the permit pertains in February of 1999. Following the
acquisition, CAMAS completed mining of an approximately 48-acre area that the previous operator had opened up.
Approximately fifty percent (50%) of that area had been reclaimed by the previous operator, with sloping and
seeding along the western boundary. CAMAS stripped and mined another 8-acre area, and an additional 11.6 aces
was stripped, with topsoil and overburden stockpiled.
During the current permit year, we propose to complete mining of the 11.6 acres that have already been stripped,
and we propose to strip and mine another 12 aaes. It is anticipazed that reclamation will be completed in the
48-acre area referenced above.
The above references are delineated on the enclosed map as follows: Areas outlined in blue are areas where
CAMAS completed mining, and the area outlined in pink is where CAMAS stripped, during the permit year ended
August 28, 1999. The lake area, in which it is shown that CAMAS completed some mining, is the area of
disturbance and reclamation referenced as having been done by the previous operator. The areas outlined in orange
are proposed for stripping and mining during the current permit year.
Please cal I if you have any questions a need additional information.
Very truly yours,

Connie N.
