Division or Minerals and Geology -Spent Ore Study F/NAL REPORT
ANALYTICAL TESTING and TEST RESULTS
Mine Water Samples
All four mine water samples were analyzed lire the following parameters:
Major ton chemistry: pH, Conductivity, TDS. Alkalinity, Bicarbonate, Carbonate, SO,, CI,
Ca, Mg, Na, K
Total Cyanide, WAD-Cyanide, Free Cyanide
Trace Metals: Al, As, Cu, Cd, Fe, Ph, Mn, Ag, Zn
Mine water sample test results are presented in Table 4.
Single Contact Batch Leachability Tests and Sequential Batch Leachability Test Leachates
Leachate samples generated from single contact and sequential batch testing were: analyzed for
the following parameters:
Major ton chemistry: pH, Conductivity, TDS, Alkalinity, Bicarbonate, Carbonate, SO„ CI,
Ca,Mg, Na, K
Total Cyanide, WAD-Cyanide
Trace Metals: Al, As, Cu, Cd, Fe, Ph, Mn. Ag, Zn
Single contact batch test results and results Imm the Icachate generated Irom the first contact of
each of [he two seyuential batch tests arc contained in Table 5. It should be noted that test
conditions utilized in performing the first conulct of each seyuential hatch test were essentially
the same as those used during single contact batch tests. Scyucmial hatch test Icachate test
results are contained in Tables 6 and 7.
All batch testing and sample preparation and handling prior w suhmiual for analytical testing
was performed by Chemac Environmental Services in Englewood, CO. All analytical test work
on mine water samples and batch test Irachatcs was performed by Auburn Anaiytical Inc. in
Auburn, Alabama. Copies of original analytical reports generated Irom this nest work arc
included in appendix A and appendix B.
CHEMAC ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICGS ( November. 1995
