SECTION 4 -SEED TAG INFORMATION AND APPROVED REVEGETATION MIX RULE REQUIREMENT RULE 2.04.13(1)(a-f) 2.04.13(1) by February I5, or other such date as agreed on, each permittee shall file an annual reclamation report covering the previous calendaz year for all azeas under bond. The report shall include, but not limited to, text, discussion and maps which address: o (a) the name and address of the permittee and permit number o (b) location and number of acres disturbed during that yeaz o (c) location and number of acres backfilled and graded during that year o (d) location and number of acres topsoiled during that year o (e) the species, location and number of acres of vegetation planted during that yeaz, including any augmented seeding or cultural practices o (f) location, number of acres and date of planting for all previously revegetated areas • The species of plants seeded on Colowyo's 2002 reclamation areas follow the approved seed mixture located in Volume 1, page 2.05-44 through 2.05-48. The Division regulations contain consistent themes that mine operations and reclamation aze to be conducted in such a way as to minimize adverse environmental impacts and ensure that reclaimed lands will support the approved postmining land use. The Division may take an enforcement action using a number of Rules if the Division determines that an operator has not met the commitments of an approved weed management plan or the Division determines a noxious weed infestation displays an increasing trend, due to a lack of effort by the operator. Colowyo applied pesticides to the land for the control of known weed species. Chemicals applied within the mine permit boundary include: Tordon, 2,4- D, and Roundup. GENERAL DISCUSSION Seed Mixture Revisions -Revised Colowyo Reclamation Seed Mixture tables were created by MR-59 which modified the Colowyo Reclamation Seed Mix. The permit pages affected are 2.05-44 through 2.05-48. The revised tables are found in Exhibit 4A. . Seed Tags -Copies of individual seed tags aze provided in Exhibit 4B.
