During the previous year, San Miguel County cleared and stripped approximately .5
acre in preparation for crushing 8000 cubic yards in year 2000. (Please see attached
map. )
During this process, the County also sloped and graded the existing disturbance in an
effort to provide a safe area to excavate the material.
No disturbed area has been reclaimed to date, however it is anticipated that after
completion of 2000 mining and crushing, reclamation will begin on the south
disturbed boundary.
