A new sediment pond was <br />constructed, and related ditches were built. The area disturbed was approximately <br />3 Acres. <br />The three acres disturbed by the new pond was seeded in November 1990, the seed <br />mix used is the same as was used on the reclaimed areas, it is as follows. <br />The seeding rate was 14.5 pls per acre <br />Covington Blue Grama <br />Vaughn Sideoats Grama <br />Arriba Western Wheatgrass <br />Vinal Russian Wild Rye <br />Poloma Indian Ricegrass <br />Primar Slender Wheatgrass <br />Sodar Streambank Wheatgrass <br />Critana Thickspike Wheatgrass <br />Sand Dropseed <br />Cicer Milkvetch <br />Sainfron <br />Rubber Rabbit Brush <br />Winter Fat <br />The mine in its entiredy was reclaimed in 1989, with the exception of the <br />sediment control structures. All backfilling and grading was completed by <br />November 1989, the area was seeded at this time with the mix listed above. <br />The total acreage reclaimed was approximately 58.5 acres.
