No <br />additional clearing or stripping was required in 1992. Work <br />on the haulroad to the new mine area continued in 1992 by <br />using waste material to widen the road for improved visual <br />clearance. <br />Reclamation efforts in the old mine area during 1992 included <br />backfilling and regrading of highwalls mined prior to 1990. <br />Work continued on backfilling and grading the last area mined <br />during 1990. Topsoil was replaced on approximately 1.5 acres <br />of this area and reseeding was accomplished. 1992 efforts on <br />the 1.5 acre plot included "redoing" .7 acres reclaimed in <br />1991 that showed unsatisfactory revegetation. <br />The portion of Eagle County Road #51 which serves as a <br />haulroad was treated with dust suppressant during the summer <br />and roadbase material was also replaced on worn areas of the <br />road at that time. <br />Salvage material accumulated from earlier operations and <br />stored along the county road was removed during the year. <br />A total of approximately 275,000 tons of gypsum rock was <br />shipped from the mine during 1992. <br />3.21 ac. <br />.65 ac. <br />Subtotals <br />6.42 ac. 10.28 ac. <br />-2- <br />
