Lochhead
EzttNive Director
Michael 8. Long
Division Director
The Division has reviewed Seneca's 1995 Annual Reclamation Report
for the Hayden Gulch Loadout. The report is concise and follows the
Regulations closely, which the Division appreciates. The Division
has only two minor comments:
1) The report states that 70.8 acres have been permanently
seeded, as shown on Exhibit 10.1 with the designation DHG.
However, the area designated as DHG on Exhibit 10.1 is,
essentially, the railroad loop. Since the railroad loop will
undergo backfillinq and grading operations during final
reclamation, the Division believes that this area has been
temporarily seeded, not permanently seeded. If Seneca agrees,
please make the necessary change to the report.
2) As required by Rule 2.04.13(f), please state the date of
planting for the previously revegetated areas.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
~~
os ph ~ Dudash
Environmental Protection Specialist
CC: David Berry
C:\WP51\HGI.OARR.95
