5.1.4 Process Ponds <br />The process ponds at the NSI site have a secondary liner, which collects and duects any <br />condensation or leakage to the leak detection tube for removal. Weekly collection and removal of <br />leachate continued in 2006. Process pond information is provided within the monthly reports. <br />6.0 Land Disturbance and Reclamation <br />6.l Summary of 2006 Disturbance <br />There was no new surface disturbance in 2006. Disturbed acreage approved <br />under DMG permit remained at 73 acres with a total of 70.8 acres disturbed through 2006. <br />Topsoil stockpIle inventories remain unchanged throughout 2006. The quantity of topsoil stockpiled <br />remains approximately 71,761 cubic yazds. <br />6.3 Reclamation Activity <br />6.3.1 Seeding <br />Due to the large amount of precipitation received in September and October of 2006, <br />(---4.75",Section 5.3.3), neither seeding nor mulching occurred as scheduled. <br />6.3.2 Reclamation Fencing <br />Repair and maintenance was performed on all existing fences.
