The total area contained within the four sodium leases or mining unit is 8,222.6 acres. The <br />• location of the principle operation is T.1S., R.98W., Section 26. Figure 2-1 shows the plant <br />site, wellfield, and right-of-way access for electrical power, natural gas, telephone, and road <br />to the plant site. <br />2.2 Leasehold Status <br />The four sodium leases were renewed by the BLM, July 1, 2001 for a period often years. <br />3.0 PROJECT STATUS AND PLANS <br />3.1 2002 Status <br />3.1.1 Planned Production and Activities <br />White River Nahcolite Minerals anticipated production of approximately 97,000 tons of <br />product in 2002 from cavities #1A, 3A, 4A, 5H, and lateral wells 4A-6V, 2B-3C and 1-3A. <br />Continuous production and additional "debottlenecking" projects were planned for the plant <br />and wellfield. Efforts to increase the injection temperature to the mine were to continue <br />through optimization of the plant boilers. Food safety issues, identified through WRN's <br />sanitation audits or the audits of the customers, will be evaluated and corrected as needed. <br />3 <br />
