~IIIIIII~~I~II~~II~ <br />/:~ <br />NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTINUE <br />PIT NAME: Enderson, File Number 79-111 <br />OPERATOR: Division of Highways, State of Colorado <br />SUBSTANCE MINED: Sand and Gravel <br />DATE: August 21, 1982 <br />During the past year, less than 6.32 acres designated as affected <br />area were used for mining, stockpiling and haul road areas. It is <br />estimated that 3,000 tons of material were mined by Colorado Maintenance <br />Forces. No reclamation has been done due to future use of the pit. <br />In reference to your Notice of Inspection Report, Dated November <br />5, 1982, you mentioned stockpiles adjacent to the creek (Observation <br />k2). The Maintenance Foreman in this area informed me that those <br />piles will be removed some time this fall. <br />Use of the pit during the coming year will be for highway mainte- <br />nance use. This will be short term operations, and will be used less <br />than 180 days per year.
