The requirements for the report
were approved during Minor Revision No. 96.
MCC committed to providing a topographical map to show the location
of the subsidence monuments for the F and B seam. The topography
was not included on the map submitted, which does show the location
of the subsidence monuments and mining to date. An additional map
is not required at this time, but MCC should be aware of this
requirement in the future.
MCC noted subsidence cracks over the F seam 1W15 panel and over the
first, second, and third B-seam panels. Review of Map 26 in the
permit, B Seam Overburden Thickness, shows that overburden in the
first and second panels ranges from 1000 to 1200 feet and in the
third panel, 800-1000 feet.
The maximum total subsidence to date is 8.42 feet at point #41.
This point lies over both the F and B seams. Subsidence to date is
within the maximum predicted of 10.22 feet.
The Division accepts this report as submitted; therefore, this
completes the review of the Annual Subsidence Report. Please call
if you have any questions.
ply,
Christine E. Jq~i~i~ton V ~
Environmental/Protection Specialist CEJ/007SUB.93
