Concrete portals which were exposed were covered. The borrow area required to salvage the necessary material to coverthe portals was obtained from the pond cleanings disposal area shown on Drawing D-2-5. Additionally, two concrete footings, located in the conveyor corridor near the Roaring Fork River, were buried. The concrete footers previously supported the loadout conveyor tube. (c) Other than the work described above, no land was backfilled during 2000. (d) No land was topsoiled during 2000. (e) The areas disturbed by the work explained in (b) above were seeded. Weed control was performed in accordance with the permit application page 4-66. (f) The disturbed areas associated with the North Thompson Creek Mines were reclaimed during 1986 and 1987. In the fall of 1986 the refuse pile was seeded and mulched. In the fall of 1987 the remainder of the mine site was seeded and mulched and the unit train loadout was seeded. Following is a table which shows the location, number of acres and date of planting for all previously revegetated areas. All seeding was done in the fall of the year. Thus the reclaimed area is reduced by 3.9 acres. Reclaimed area 43.6 - 3.9 = 39.7 Acres
