Please clarify in Table I-1 whether the values listed under "ave' for
the above mentioned parameters are for 30-Day or 7-Day averages. Daily
Max values are not applicable for S-Day BOD, Total Suspended Solids, and
Fecal Coliform. Under TSS, the max values listed for Outfall 007 are less
than the average values. Please clarify the data listed under "ave" and "max"
for Outfall 007 and provide a revised Table I-1, if appropriate.
12. The last sentence on page 14 states that quality parameters of Pond MB-2R
discharge are presented in Table 1.5-1 and Table D-12, Appendix D. There
is no Table 1.5-1 presented in the report. Please clarify this and provide a
revised report page, if appropriate.
13. On page IS under Assessment of Mine Water, please change Mesa Verde
Foundation to Mesa Verde Formation and submit a revised report page.
14. Please add this discussion to page 19 and provide
a revised report page.
15. The following required analytical data are missing from the spring water
quality data presented in Appendix E:
• Conductivity data were not provided for springs G-12, G-14, G-
16, G-22, and G-24 for the third sampling period.
• Flow data were not provided for Jumbo Spring No. 7 Pond for
the second sampling period.
• Required water quality analyses were not provided for Wilcox
Reservoir No. 1.
• Water quality analyses were not provided for Wilcox Reservoir.
• Field parameters and water quality measurements were not
provided for spring G-20. The springs flow bar graph for G-20
shows that this spring was only dripping. If sufficient water was
