~`, ~ <br />F1emo to Hydrology File <br />-2- <br />February 6, 1989 <br />I expect that neither spoils well was drilled to the bottom of the pit. In <br />addition, it appears that the Pit 2 Spoils Well has silted in, unless depth is <br />recorded from ground's surface. The completion of diagrams (p. II, F-16c) <br />indicate that there is only five feet of gravel-packed casing at the bottom of <br />these wells and therefore any water which gets into the well must come through <br />drill cuttings. It may be several years before we see any water of <br />significance in these wells. <br />On an unrelated note, the upstream sampling station site SW3 has rarely <br />exhibited flow. If no data comes out of this site next year, I would suggest <br />using Site SW7. <br />3182E/scg <br />
