r ; .-.
Energy Fuels Coal, Inc.
Southfield Mine
1995
ANNUAL RECLAMATION REPORT
Introduction
The Annual Reclamation Report documents all permanent reclamation activities conducted by
Energy Fuels Coal, Inc (EFCI) at the Southfield Mine during the 1995 calendar year. EFCI
actively mined and processed coal during the reporting period. This report includes text and
discussion, without maps, in accordance with the requirements of Rule 2.04.13.
Disturbed. Bacidilled. and Topsoiled Areas
EFCI did not disturb any additional acres during the reporting period. In addition, no
backfilling or topsoiling was performed during the period. Any backfilling operations are
anticipated to commence following closure of the mine.
Current and Previous Revegetated Areas
No revegetation activities occurred during the reporting period. Previously revegetated areas
exhibit good growth and are effectively controlling erosion.
There were no vegetation surveys conducted during the reporting period. EFCI intends to
commence vegetation surveys in accordance with the permit when final reclamation and
revegetation is completed.
Conclusions
EFCI is accomplishing contemporaneous reclamation of the refuse pile area in compliance
with the permit application. The current reclamation process effectively minimizes the total
disturbance and promotes establishment of the site to its approved postmining land use
capabilities.
