Table 5 <br />lists the relative cover for the species found in each sampling area, and <br />lists the four dominant grasses and one forb for each transect for compari- <br />son to the species diversity standard. Annual vegetation has been excluded <br />from the data included in Table 5. <br />Areas reclaimed in 1981 and earlier do not meet the species diversity <br />requirements. This is due primarily to the seed mixture utilized on these <br />areas. All other areas sampled meet the requirements of species diversity. <br />As revegetation efforts continue to utilize a diverse seed mixture, it is <br />likely that a weighted average for the entire mine sight for species divers- <br />ity will meet the permit requirements. <br />-6- <br />
