Please respond to the following
issues within 30 days of receipt of this letter.
1. The report submitted consists of data organized in a tabulated
format by survey point. Some discussion needs to be included
which briefly reviews the mining conducted since the last
report, including the starting date for each new panel, and an
estimate of the mining progress anticipated over the next 6
months. This discussion should also briefly discuss the
results of the subsidence data collected.
2. Map 17 does not accurately depict the subsidence monitoring
stations as listed in the data tables. Each subsidence
monument line should have discrete points identified by a
numbering system of choice which clearly links the data
reported with the map. Examples are points W-1 to W-18, the
35 point north-south line, the Zamora Canyon line, and the line
at the east end of NW ~`2.
3. The elevations of subsidence monitoring points as depicted on
Map 17 for the unlabeled points at the west end of NW #3 does
not relate to the elevations recorded for the data in the
table titled NW 3 West End Subsidence Points. Please explain
this discrepancy.
4. Please explain the meaning of columns, Elevation Difference,
Diff. between Monuments, and Difference. Also, it would be
helpful if all the data was tabulated in the same type of
column format.
5. Where are the East Panel Control Points on Map 17?
