A sonar survey was atternpted on recovery well WRNM 26-93-1 V without success. The
sonar tool was unable to be lowered below the 7" casing because of debris in the well.
A baseline temperature :>urvey was taken on both the injection and recovery well for
cavity #3. Several days after sustaining production to the plant, the mining was stopped
and a set of 3 (each) coal down temperature logs were taken.
WRN will continue to sonar survey and temperature survey the production wells as
required by the Mine Plan.
Agapito and Assoc. submitted a geotechnical study of the present roof support system
indicating that adequate stability was possible with cavities of 75' in width. This study will
• be refined as more information is received.
Staff in the North American organization have been utilized to create a model for the
development of the cavities mined by WRN. A preliminary model has been developed
which will be updated as more data is generated.
No indications of surtace subsidence were noted during 1994. Surtace monitoring of
ground movements will continue in 1995, and any significant changes in elevation will be
noted and reported to the sappropriate government agencies.
• 30
