The mining of cavity #3 started inrch 1994 but due to high sediment impurities, <br />production was stopped. In May 1994, cavity #3 was developed in series with cavity #2. <br />Through the use of increa:;ed flow and temperature, cavity #3 was developed in less than <br />a month to become the sole provider of product for the plant, by June, 1994. <br />WRNM has experimented with various methods to increase production during 1994, from <br />the addition of CO2 to recovery of fines. <br />In 1994, raw water was pumped from the A-Groove supply well 90-1 and utilized for <br />process feed and domestic uses.
