The EPA bond was increased to cover wells <br />associated with cavity #3. WRN requested/obtained approval to inject and recover mine <br />fluids from single well (91-2H) for cavity #2. Pages,36-39 of WRN's monitoring plan were <br />revised to change some water quality parameters. The BLM notified WRN of non- <br />conformance with the Mine Plan re: maintenance of annulus air pressure for 91-1 V and <br />91-2H, and inoperable temperature and pressure gauges on well heads (cavities #2 and <br />3). BLM review of lea:~e modification for 520 acre window continued, and WRN <br />acknowledged acreage adjustment. Site inspections by the State APCD and EPA were <br />performed with compliance noted. WRN notified the BLM and EPA at year-end that the <br />water quality of water well (91-1) had changed in Sept-Dec. <br />• 3.1.3 Pro'ect Activities <br />Major capital work at the facility in 1994 included installation of additional packaging <br />equipment, installation of the waste pond evaporative system, and installation of <br />wellhead equipment and piping, associated with cavity #3. <br />8 <br />
