Lony
Div~s~on Director
I have completed my review of the submitted 1992 Annual Hydrology
Report from Mike Galloway and have the following comments.
1. The mine has complied with Rule 4.05.13; the monitoring plan
for the most part except for the winter quarter. The Division has
since received the winter quarter's data submitted by Resource
Engineering Inc. All parameters have been monitored according to
Stipulation No.3 except for C03 in well OW-14. Record
investigation shows that Co3 has not been calculated in the annual
hydrology reports since the beginning of monitoring in 1985.
P.ecommendation
Please provide an explanation why C03 has been excluded from the
parameter analysis in well OW-14 in the annual hydrology report.
The Division position is that this parameter should be monitored
annually as specified in Stipulation No.3.
2. The data from the 1992 sampling and measurements fall within
the historical range of data from the same well locations.
3. The data from the 1992 sampling and measurements are within
the projections of the Probable Hydrologic Consequences (PHC) for
the mine.
This concludes my review. If you have any questions regarding the
issues mentioned above, please do not hesitate to call me at 866-
3567 x360.
Sincerely
~ ~ ~
Shawn E.
