Long; <br />Dimsinn Direnw <br />I have received your fax regarding chemical and physical parameter testing of a topsoil pile <br />at the Golden Eagle Mine that will be incorporated into another topsoil stockpile. Your <br />note stated that this particular pile may have been derived from road maintenance, ditch <br />cleaning, or sediment pond cleaning. Your proposal is to test for the following parameters: <br />Textural Analysis (% Sand, Silt, and Clay) <br />Coarse Fragment Percentage <br />pH <br />Conductivity (tic) <br />SAR <br />Saturation Percent <br />% Organic Matter <br />Please include the components of the SAR value-Sodium, Calcium, and Magnesium. <br />With the inclusion of the referenced parameters the Division considers Basin Resources <br />sampling proposal to be adequate for the soil material stockpile in question.
