(dba Southwestern Portland Cement Company), has applied to the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board for a Regular 112 Permit for a limestone mine and associated <br />activities in the Dowe Flats azea. The applicant is required to notify all owners of permanent <br />man-made structures located within 200 feet of the boundary of the area affected by any mining <br />associated operations. <br />. It is not expected that any mining related activities will adversely affect structures in the area. <br />Southdown, Inc. will be responsible for repair of any damage incurred as a result of the mining <br />operation to any permanent man-made structures owned by you which are located within 200 <br />feet of the mining operation. <br />If you have any questions regarding this letter, you may contact the Colorado State Division of <br />Minerals and Geology at 866-3567. <br />Sincerely, <br />John Lohr <br />Plant Manager <br />Southdown, Inc. <br /> <br />
