02/28/02
MAR 1 t 2002
ANNUAL REPORT
EVERHART PIT
Permit No. M 1997-081
RECEIVED
Division of Minerals and Geology
The Everhart Pit is adjacent to the Pope's No. 1 Pit. The plan has been to mine through the
buffer between the two properties and then close out the Pope's No. 1 Pit. The barrier
between the two properties was removed in 2000 while extracting gravel for crushing and
screening. We continue to use the Pope's No. 1 Pit floor to stockpile and process material and
the entrance to haul gravel until sufficient additional mining is done on the Everhart property to
warrant closing down Pope's side of the pit. Attached is a map showing the limited area of
mining in Everhart Pit.
Please note that this permit is held by Pueblo County therefore no financial warranty has been
required.
