(terra cotta) <br /> 3 . 06 Acres ± Roads, setbacks and Earth stockpiles (tan) <br /> 8.71 Acres ± processing area (brown) <br /> LAKE ROBERT <br /> 10.48 Acres ± lake (blue or purple) <br /> 3 .50 Acres ± temporary sand fill (orange) <br /> 0.92 Acres ± topsoil stockpile. (dark green) <br /> 1. 43+ Acres ± shaped and graded (green) <br /> (2) No reclamation was required this year, however we continue to <br /> do reclamation concurrent with mining. The backfill. area in <br /> the northeast corner of LAKE MARJORIE is complete (terra <br /> cotta) . Since 1980, 98 cottonwoods; 3 cedar; 61 black <br /> walnuts; 52 russian olives; 32 pine and 148 wild plums have <br /> been planted in around the east and south sides of LAKE MAR- <br /> JORIE. Survival rate as been nearly 70% and the trees are now <br /> self sustaining. We have had to fence in all of the larger <br /> trees that existed on the site and a number of the smaller <br /> ones along the Lowline Ditch to keep the beavers from cutting <br /> them down. We have continued to monitor their progress and <br /> care for them as needed. The tree areas are colored. green. <br /> (3) Mining will continue on areas previously stripped, in both <br /> lakes, depending on the type and demand for material needed. <br /> We will continue to mine into the sand pile areas this year <br /> enlarging the lakes. LAKE ROBERT was not mined to total <br /> st year and we may resume removing gravel under the lakes <br /> surface if the demand for that type of material continues. <br /> The Plant Site will remain on the south end of LAKE MARJORIE <br /> as approved. <br /> (4) No reclamation is required at this time since we are within <br /> the bonded limits set in 1991.
