There appears to be a disconnect between some data reported in tables in the text and the
diagrams that appear in appendix A. for example, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) values for Well
AA3 show a spike at ?690 mg/I in 1997, but that value doesn't appeaz in the tables back through
the 1998 and 1997 AHRs. Likewise the most recent value for TDS shown on the plot is 330
mg/l. [see no value in any table of 330 mg/l. In fact, TDS values for the last several years for
that well don't appear to correlate between the graph and even the values for electrical
conductivity (EC) shown in the tables. If this value is calculated from the electrical
conductivity, this calculation should be shown. Are the data in the plot based on data not
presented in the tables? Please explain.
The springs appeaz to be fluctuating around the same values of flow, pH, temperature, and TDS
as they have been.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
a /'~~~'L%til~C
G~/~
Jim Burnell
Environmental Protection Specialist
