During the
past year we experienced more utilization of material from the pit than typical due to
adverse winter weather conditions and municipal development. I estimate that we have
removed approximately 3000 tons this year and anticipate similar usage within the next
year.
We continue to move from the southwest corner of the permit area to the east and north,
gradually moving the haul road within the permit area as we go. Once we have enough
area in need of reclamation we will move the topsoil and grade to a 3:1 slope before
reseeding. I do not expect that will be accomplished within the next year.
Sincerely,
Dave Stone
Public Works Director
Town of Limon
