This information was collected over the period from December 7 through. December
9, 1993.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
On the 5`" of December (Sunday) no work was done at the site. On December 8'' liner cover
material was placed, but no embankment material was placed, as BMRI workers did not haul
any material from the pit or borrow area. Weather conditions were dry and relat1vety warm
during construction activities. The construction activities during this period a{a outlined
below.
• Liner Cover
All of the liner cover material has been placed. All of the small (less than 1 acre) a(eas which
had not been covered at the end of the last work period have now been c•4ered with
sufficient material.
• Embankment Construction
At the end of this work period, approximately 80 percent of the 8803 (approximate elevation)
lift had been placed. The night shift on the 8`" was to finish placing this lift and place a
majority of the final lift (8605). As substantial borrow material of good quality remained at
the pit and there appeared to be no problems with achieving densities, I left the site for Fort
Collins on Wednesday night (the 8"').
P _ 0 2
• I
2629 Redwing Rd.
