There- <br />Eore, we feel the following questions are warranted: - <br />8) the limitations of the present pre-sorting system to detect small amounts <br />of ore intermixed with large amounts of waste rock <br />9} alternate methods of pre-sorting <br />Once again, as stated in our letter of December 18, 1979, the i:asues raised <br />in this letter must receive an in-depth analysis as part of your license <br />application. Addressing these issues should in no way delay th~a submittal of <br />your revised Environmental Report which the Department requests be submitted <br />no later than February 29, 1980. If the Environmental Report h:as not been <br />submitted by this date, the Department will consider institutin;; the necessary <br />procedures, pursuant to CRS 1973, 25-11-107, needed to cease thy: operation of <br />the Cotter Schwartzwalder ore sorter. <br />• The thorough evaluation of a possible health hazard is the Department`s major <br />concern.
