Drawer D
Hayden, CO 81639
RE: Yoast Mine (C-94-082)
1995 Annual Hydrology Report
Dear Mr. Altavilla,
The Division of Minerals and Geology received the Annual Reclamation Report and Annual
Hydrology Report submitted by Seneca Coal Company for the Yoast Mine.
Since mining activity at the site was limited to haul road construction, and the pit areas had
not yet been developed, there were no mining related impacts to surface or ground water.
The data proved will supplement baseline data and be useful for determining whether the
mine impacts water resources in the future.
A review of the data provided indicates the information is consistent with baseline data, and
there were no apparent sampling or laboratory errors.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
J. ~.
~~~
Erica S.
