The January 20, 1999 plan was
titled Petroleum Contamination Soils Treatment and Disposal Plan.
Umetco has been treating and sampling the PCS since 1999. Attached aze the results of
the final verification sampling conducted on June 25, 2003. Total TPH concentration of
the treated soils is less than the 250 mg/TPH/kg soil specified in the treatment plan.
Umetco plans to reclaim the treated soils by contouring the treatment area to blend with
the surrounding area and vegetating the disturbed area with a seed mixture approved by
Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology, as specified in permit M/77/296.
Umetco requests permission to proceed with reclamation of the PCS treatment area.
Sincerely,
,P
Curtis O.
