MK Ferguson and Umetco companies sampled the property
during this period to determine if the limestone meets the specifications for
rip rap rock which could be used for reclamation of the Maybell uranium tailings.
An invitation to bid on supplying limestone for the Craig Station Power
Plant scrubbers was received in the Spring of 1989. A bid was tendered to
the Colorado Ute Co., but we were subsequently advised that the contract was
being awarded to a supplier from Glenwood Springs.
Moffat Limestone Company proposes to construct an access road to the
quarry site this Fall, and to continue its efforts to find markets for its
limestone products.
This report constitutes our NOTICE Of INTENT to continue operations.
2 ~ ~-
Signature
