<br />DELTA COUNTY <br />ANTELOPE HILL PIT <br />2003 <br />ANNUAL REPORT <br />(Submitted 10/20031 <br />No. M-78-172 <br />There was no mining at the Antelope I-Iill Pit in 2003. The accompanying map shows the azea of <br />projected activity for the year 2004, the azea reclaimed [o date, and the extent of prior years disturbance. <br />The gravel deposit was found to be intermittent and unrecoverable toward the north end of Phase <br />I. The mining was stopped in Phase I for that reason. Since the deposit was found to decrease northward, <br />the County now proposes [o start mining at the southern end of Phase IV. The gravel deposit can then be <br />more efficiently mined northwazd into Phases III and T[ or as long as the deposit holds out. The mining <br />would [hen progress much like Phase L Please note [his change in the mining plan. <br />
